The guitar itself doesn't including any amp modeling hardware, it just has an extremely cheap one-way USB audio interface. The only thing that comes out of it is the "screaming tone" from the pickups and "fantastic maple neck". The guitar output is then fed into some reduced functionality versions of software amp modelers licensed from Native Instruments. You have to monitor through a computer to get anything approaching "screaming tone". It might be mildly amusing for a 10 year old, but anyone that already has a guitar would be much better off with the cheapest USB audio interface you can find, and a few free plugins from KVR. Jeff
