The compressor in Live may confuse by having a parameter named "EQ Side Chain". This is not side-chaining in the matter of controlling one compressor parameter from a different audio stream, as we do with the classical audio ducking technique. It's just a function for giving more or less priority to certain frequency bands to be affected by the compressor (more similar to a multi band compressor if you like). > when using mac intel ?
