E of Dufferin The PiNG presents a special All Hallow's Eve performance featuring sound sculpturist PHOLDE and the secretive surrealist sound collective SIX HEADS all bathed in light courtesy of the GENERAL CHAOS VISUALS eye candy. PHOLDE @ 8:30 pm Alan Bloor (Knurl) returns as PHOLDE to bow, scrape, brush, klang and caress his self-created metal sound sculptures with other metal objects to produce thunderous, spacious soundscapes. Metal, amplified and effected. http://www.pholde.com SIX HEADS @ 9:30 pm Using a range of unusual sound sources (home-made instruments, circuit-bent electronics, toys and found objects, field recordings, etc.) and some creative live mixing and audio processing, SIX HEADS produce a dense, shifting sonic dreamscape of ambient textures, jarring juxtapositions of concrete sound and an absurd and vaguely disturbing sense of humour.
