That would be interesting. Or I could just do what a lot of major guitars players would do at large arenas...you see a wall of Marshalls behind them, but if you trace their guitar cable, it goes behind the stage in a room with an old 10" Music Man tube amp or something like that. So, basically, I would just use mic the amp at a distance, run the mic input to my laptop, and then everything else is business as usual at that point. But these days I am playing more mandolin than guitar with my laptop, so I don't really need to run this setup.
