It's a very long shot... but one time this exact thing happened to me. I took everything apart and put it together twice with no improvement. Then I realized I had one of my effects devices set to "auto sample." It had sampled me plugging in my guitar and was set to trigger the sample when ever it got an audio signal. Luckily this happened at a gig so I could look especially stupid in front of my audience. good luck, Mark --- "markfrancombe.com" <mark@markfrancombe.com> wrote: > normally i would like this but... > > after a rewire of my rack i now have a weird > electronic clicking when i play guitar EVEN IF > THECHANNEL IS MUTED!!! > Its really odd, but im getting more clicks the > louder the playing, so if i hit one load note, > theres lots of clicks at first, then they get > further apart, and then when sound is almost dead > just the occasional click; > Bit about my guitare.. and baritone fitted with midi > pickup going to GR30 and a fernandez sustainer > pickup pwered by a warl wart that has a cable taped > to my hex cable and entering the gutar via the > unused space where the old jack used to be... > > in the rack..? oh lots of hissy crackly crud... but > when WHEN i play??????? > > > > > > mark francombe > marks website is at www.markfrancombe.com > He writes for www.furthernoise.org > and works at www.transformlearning.com > i Tunes: BUY MY MUSIC AT > http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewArtist?id=184310747 > thank-you > > -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > I am using the free version of SPAMfighter for > private users. > It has removed 6583 spam emails to date. > Paying users do not have this message in their > emails. > Try SPAMfighter for free now! > ____________________________________________________________________________________ TV dinner still cooling?
