True, but neither myspace (what an awful interface!) nor yahoo offer 
a proper threaded forum - I find them far and away the best way to 
read and contribute to a discussion at leisure. I subscribe to about 
6 email digests and they take require far more time and effort than 
the forums I have joined. 

As I said, I don't intend it to compete with other options, but I 
feel it's a hole that needed filling. If it dies a death due to lack 
of interest, so be it!
