midi spec for original EDP?

i have the original software, sadly. i've been trying to track down a phone number to order the upgrade... anyone?

the manual i have absolutely doesn't have the midi spec and when i try the "plus" version (note D on) it doesn't work. anyone have the midi spec for the original version?
