If the 2880 is currently playing a loop, then pressing "Next Loop" will prepare it to record a new loop but continue playing the existing loop until you press the 'new loop" button a second time, in which case it presents you with a clean slate and begins recording... What do you mean by "overdub mode"? If you are going to trash the old loop and instantly start a new one, then why does it matter if it is playing or overdubbing at the moment of erasure? >Are you sure?...because I downloaded the manual and it says that >during PLAYBACK "New loop" puts it into "record-ready mode" and >during OVERDUB "New Loop" button is ignored. > >I just want to make sure before I buy it.
