Hi Buzap et al; Yes, I'm visually impaired, (blind) so yes, have much exp on this! lol! I kind of need the equip to be an extension of my body, but also having seen, the visual feedback aspect can also be a comfort / confidence builder too... One thing that non visual feedback requires of me though, that I think can be a good thing as far as gear goes regardless of whether one can see or not, is a rather thorough understanding of my instrument(s) / gear I'm using for a performance. -Just my thoughts... :) Oh, and sorry for the late response to this thread, have been crazy busy and am catching up on email... Smiles, CQ :) At 05:19 PM 8/6/2007 +0200, you wrote: >While we are at it, here is a suggestion + invitation for feedback: > >Recently, I have occasionally started practicing looping in a pitch dark >room and found the experience VERY useful. >Being able to sense the knobs/settings by heart and do the right moves >without any visual feedback (except LEDs) has been a really good training. > >I haven't really needed these skills yet in a live situation, but I think >it can give you more confidence, not getting irritated by insufficient >lighting etc. > >Do you also have any experience on this? > >Buzap >-- >GMX FreeMail: 1 GB Postfach, 5 E-Mail-Adressen, 10 Free SMS. >Alle Infos und kostenlose Anmeldung: http://www.gmx.net/de/go/freemail > > > > > >-- >No virus found in this incoming message. >Checked by AVG Free Edition. >Version: 7.5.476 / Virus Database: 269.11.0/927 - Release Date: 7/30/2007 >5:02 PM --- View my on-line portfolio at: http://www.onemodelplace.com/CaraQuinn "The only things I really think are important, are love, and each other. -Then, anything is possible..." http://home.earthlink.net/~cara-quinn -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
