Hi agian/ hei igjenI want edp to be the master an live to "slave to the rythm" (couldnt resist that one) , The setting is me doing guitarstuff /looping giving a feed to a keyboardist/ laptop who will sample and manipulate what i do preferably in time, I have no problem slaving the edp to the sequencer, but i want it the other way around, to avoid using a tempo click.Arne

Are you saying you want Ableton Live to be the master and the EDP the
slave? If so, you set the EDP to "Sync In". MIDI Clock works fine, in
my experience. Set Ableton to send out MIDI Clock through a hardware
MIDI interface and connect a MIDI cable from there to the EDP´s MIDI
input.
I have also tried pulse sync to get my EDP follow my computer and
that was fine with me as well. I recorded a pulse on an audio track
(you can just record a short part and loop it) and sent it out
through an audio cable into the EDP's "Sync - Beat" jack.
