Speaking of "60s Counterculture" (and a bit of history previous to it), for those who may be interested, a *very* interesting and very detailed book is: Acid Dreams, The Complete Social History of LSD: The CIA, The Sixties, and Beyond by Martin A. Lee & Bruce Shlain, with an introduction by Andrei Codrescu One of the most fascinating (and sometimes very disturbing) books I have ever read. It tells both the Light and Dark sides of the whole story, and it reveals more than ya may ever want to know about Dr. Hoffman's "problem child". (his words) :-) I just about read it non-stop, cover to cover. -Rev. Fever
