RE: RC-2 : First impressions / comparison RC-50

On the RC-2, after you double click to stop, to then erase the loop, you
have to press and hold the pedal. The problem is that the loop starts
playing again for 2 seconds while you hold the pedal down. Is there a way 
to
delete it without hearing it for those 2 seconds?
