Scenic Panner are delighted to perform = live and twice at Ars Electronica = 9.9.07 / 19:30h & 20:45h @ Lentos, Brucknerhaus (Grosser Saal) Donaupark, Linz, Austria Please reconfirm the latest showtimes here: http://www.aec.at/de/festival2007/program/project.asp?iProjectID=13991 Google video (Berlin-Marzahn) http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=7490975723997994565&hl=en *used loopers: Electrix Repeater / Lexicon Jamman (forever)* ==== Scenic Panner is a music-controlled super wide screen video application, that creates highly esthetic fly-bys of city panoramas from thousands of single object images taken in Chicago, Berlin and Munich - built/programmed by Urs Hofer and Stefan Bischoff (Zurich/Lucern) and played live by Arik Hayut <Berlin) on drums and jayrope (Berlin) on loopers, baritone guitar, vocals & live electronix without computer. Think a single midi note mapped to a single object [ f.i. a skyscaper, which gets inserted on the left of the wide screen upon the push of a played note associated with it. Then that skyscraper pans all thru the panorama and finally disappears on the right ] . Now think many different buildings, cars & public transportation of all kinds, signs, trees, aeroplanes, clouds etc. Think chords, which map groups of objects... think tempo changes of the panorama, think colors, shapes, emptyness and fully cluttered images mixed... We'll tell another visual story through music, that shall as well exist and please without any image at all... http://scenicpanner.com http://myspace.com/scenicpannermusic ==== If anyone's nearby, please contact us via Myspace to eventually meet up on location. We are in Linz from Thursday night on and open to wine drinking invitations etc. ==== Enjoy. --- Best greets from Berlin. jayrope - http://www.kliklak.net http://www.touchdonttouch.com
