I'd say leave everything that is needed for a new reader to fully  
understand the background to your own post!

Looper Delight don't have any common routine for if you should add  
your own post above or below previous posts, so here you have to  
improvise. Personally I always go in the same direction as previous  
writers. You can also tidy up a bit so a new reader can easily see  
who wrote what.

To minimize the text mass for Digest Version Readers you should only  
keep the essential parts of each previous post in your message  
(delete all "small talks" and where people say the same thing twice).
