The software upgrade is well worth getting, Luis.  What I like most is 
that 
you can now mix in or sample the audio input thru, live like a DJ mixer, 
and 
apply effects or filters to the sound.  I use it to bring in the audio 
from 
my Yamaha electronic kit, and boost the gain, and then send it out to my 
mixer.  That saved me from having to buy an expensive stereo preamp!  
looks 
like it has some live looping possibilities.

its a great little machine,the only thing i dislike
about it is the project saving function, i find it
quite tedious,and the fact that you can only import
wavs.i havent been doing much with it lately but there
is a new software upgrade i believe,keep sharing any
new tricks you might come up with!
