Re: AW: Posting my looping rig's specifications
Great idea, Per. I will collect these setup
explanations and figure out a way to post them on the Y2K7 website.
In the mean time, here is my setup:
- Mini Guitar (http://www.krispenhartung.com/gear/epi.jpg)
into Ernie Ball volume pedal
- Volume pedal into RME Fireface 400 (http://www.rme-audio.com/images/firewire/ff400_front2.jpg)
- RME Fireface 400 into Lenovo ThinkPad T60p
Notebook computer (2.4Ghz X 2, 2 GIG of RAM, XP Pro: http://www.pc.ibm.com/us/thinkpad/images/T60-1L.gif
- Notebook computer loaded with max/msp
- Screenshot of my main max/msp performance patch:
http://www.krispenhartung.com/gear/max-map.jpg (user
interface) and http://www.krispenhartung.com/gear/max-inside.jpg (under
the hood)
- Max/msp Loaded with:
- Biquad max EQ patches for guitar and
voice
- Boogex amp VST amp sim
- Max/msp Roland GR300 guitar synth
simulator
- Reaktor 5 VST plugin
- Several rows of my own max/msp effect patches
(everything from pitches/delay effects, to granular, filters, modulators,
degraders, and random effectors)
- Max/msp random FM synthesis percusion
generator
- The Kaiser Looper
- Max/msp reverb, delay, chorus, and
compressor
- Wav file player/looper patch
- Record to disk patch
- Patch that converts all my effect patches into
post-loop effects
- Screenshot of the Kaiser Looper: http://www.krispenhartung.com/gear/kaiser-looper.jpg
- Behringer FCB MIDI controller running into
Fireface 400 to turn patches on and off, controll the Kaiser Looper, and
modify effect patch parameters with two expression pedals
