In general, booking venues is all about marketing. If you can go into a venue and promise them 50 to 100 people attending your show, then you won't have any troubles booking venues. If you go into a venue expecting them to provide the audience for you, then it will be a much harder sell. Use the Internet and other means to network with other musicians of all types. Find other musicians that like your music and you like theirs. Work together to build audiences and to approach venues. Bob Amstadt
