I'm sure that's true, Dennis - But my understanding is that the main 
Repeater-specific requirement is that the CompactFlash card have the 
Hitachi controller chipset, available in the exotic (and expensive) 
PRETEC 'industrial' CF cards and some others which may or may not be 
built using the Hitachi chipset.  There is good information on this 
subject posted over at the Yahoo group "repeater-users" - search on 
'pretec'.

There are also occasionally leads on inexpensive sources for these 
hard-to-find CompactFlash cards.
