Re: Re: sonic viral infection

Me too.  I started noticing it when I my car died and I had to take the dreaded LA bus system back in 96.  Two hours to go 12 miles!  I won't use a Walkman/etc in such treks as when you take a bus through East LA or Downtown, it's best to pay attention to people around you... and so at some point I recognized that my brain was giving me what I termed KSPG, aka my internal radio station.  I also found that my composition efforts picked up at times when running something over and over in your head like that.  And when I moved to the UK without my CD collection (except by mistake, between Rolling Stones and ZZ Top), KSPG was there again, reminding me about my memory's capacity and tenacity.

Steve's work on the  Bozzio, Levin, Stevens CDs is outstanding.

A friend of mine asked me if I I always have music running through my head, and I have to say 'Yes.'
I never really thought about it, but I do.  There's always some tune running around in my head.
