You mean re-issueing "old" technlogy in a new package? :) Yep, Roland is 
in that. And about the M13 looper, this is what the FAQ says:

"Much like the DL4, it’s a straight-forward sound-on-sound looper (where 
you can build up sounds by overdubbing them one at time) but we have made 
a few upgrades: you can loop up to 28 seconds, you get one layer of undo 
and you can use all of your effects while using the looper."

So if I interpreted this well, you can use 4 effects and the new looper at 
the same time. It's a pitty the looper still is mono though. Anyway, it 
could be very usefull as a "pre-looper" to create all kind of effects and 
short loops of 2.5 sec's max .
