Re: Amp for guitar and keyboard?

I've been using a Roland KC-300 for a while, it's a full-range "keyboard" amp with four inputs.  However, if you're using a guitar amp to generate your guitar tone, you'll probably find that an accurate reproduction of the signal from your line-out on the Rivera doesn't sound like the amp, since the power section and speaker color the guitar sound more than a little.

Hey,

I'm trying to find an amp that I can run in stereo with my rivera knucklehead. I will be running the line out of my rivera, as well as my softsyths, into my echoplex. I was wondering what kind of amp would be able to accurately replicate the tones. I don't need it for a monitoring system, just for myself.

I've been looking at the roland jazz chorus, or some of the larger cubes, but I don't know if they can handle the frequencies of the synths (minimoog and arp). I know that the ideal amp would have a 15" speaker, but that would require me buying an amp, and then a 15" cab.

Any suggestions from people who do this live?
