Hi

I would go with an active PA.
Check out the RCF PAs they are really killer....

I bought a pair of FBT speakers 10". 10 inch was barely the size that I 
could carry stereo with me and that would still have a decent bass (only 
FBT or RCF though, Opera etc is not enough).
