I second the Gmail suggestion--It categorizes everything perfectly, and instead of getting 42 new emails per day, you may only get 3-4 groups of 8-10 messages each.

It really helps keep things sane!

I'm know there are other e-mail clients capable of doing the same thing.  Any tips for how you manage all the *great* information on this list?
