Live LE should be fine.  I'm not a heavy-duty Live user but I have
Lite on one of my machines and don't remember hitting any serious
limitations.  If you don't already have a copy of Live Lite then I
recommend looking at Bidule to see if it meets your needs.  It is
cheap and flexible but not as good at manipulating pre-recorded
loops.
