Neal Schon a looper mentioned in New Guitar Player mag

Neal Schon is the cover artist in the New Guitar Player mag.
in his gear it is mentioned that he uses a Gibson EDP, and i think he says that he makes loops and solos over in between songs on stage.

so a pretty high profile guitarist using looping tools.
i often wonder when non-musician folks (and non-loopers) see him play if they are hearing his loop compositions between the songs, wonder what they think? or if they think anything of it.

i remember seeing tina turner back in late 80's and the band would jam at the end of songs, while she did a costume change, and i didn't think too much of it. (at the time i probably thought "well they are no jimi hendrix or ed vh"....ha, but tha was just my young narrow mindedness....)
oh well.
