Hi Tilmann, Bruce here. You've hit the bull's-eye. "Loro" is a fantastic work. It's a Brazilian groove called baião. I've heard Egberto plays the out-chrous one of two ways: either accelerating to light speed or slowing to complete motionlessness. Either way, it's striking! Gismonti definitely cares about sound!
