Re: OT: an unpleasant buzz

Zoe,

You may want to try your monitor in another location and see if it
still buzzes. You may want to substitue a different power cord
(probably won't make any difference, but worth a try).

Does this happen just on the one monitor or does it happen on other
monitors?

If it is just the one monitor then there could be a problem with its
power supply (specifically, the rectifiers or filter capacitors). If
it happens on multiple monitors then the problem is likely your power
/ house wiring or interference in your area.

Also, congratulations on your grant. What a fantastic opportunity!
All the best with the project.

Sincerely,

Kevin
