harmonizing/best hardware looper pedal

in response to compact harmonizing:
people i've read reviews of seem to like the boss pitch shifting pedal (can't remember the # of it), pt-something...
for your request of harmonizing and tap delays in small size that could be tough:
i have a digitech rp150-it has harmonizing w/ delays up to 5 sec, but not really tap delays
and the zoom g2 has harmonizing w/ delay options, it does have a tap delay option-there are 8 different patterns, but it's not as good as i remember (or flexible in programming) that i remember my old digitech dsp256xl had, i'm sure it's not as good as what the trs-24 has.

best hardware looping pedal??
-that's pretty subjective-new delay pedals by boss (dd7) and digitech dl8 (that you have) -do have looping options of 40 and 20 sec.
people seem to like the line 6 delay modelling that's been around.
i like my boss rc-20 (original w/ only 5 min of record time-which i've never come close to using up)-it records and can do reverse-i only wish it had an option to play w/ the speed-slow down or speed up-sort of like what i've seen the E-H memory man w/ hazarai do in the online vid demos-and of course that's an option  too.
and then there's digitech's newest version of the  jamman (some love, some don't)-it can manipulate time i think, but no reverse-some don't like that...
and then there's the new digitech timebender that comes out in either feb or march...
when you say best-there's lots to choose from, all w/ various options of manipulation-to me the pedal ones don't seem to have as much control over loop manipulation that i'd like,- i personally would love to see more time manipulation options-i'm sure there are tons of software emulations that do these things-something i know nothing about....
there's also the boss rc-2-the mini version of the boss rc-20xl (people seem to like it for compact feel and ease)
my suggestion: look at online vid demos of pedals, see if your local area has a few that you can try out, read online reviews at harmony-central.com also a good resource....
happy searching....

ps-i'm sure i missed a pedal here and there-others will chime in i'm sure....
