the poly mode is the only thing i like about it,what i love doing with the OC3 is mixing the poly mode on the 2 lower strings with the swell effect of the DL4,it gives you a nice strings synth effect.Yes The Pog tracking is way better. But i agree otherwise the OC3 is too wabbly and awful sounding specially on acoustic guitar! www.myspace.com/luisangulocom --- On Mon, 3/2/09, andy butler <akbutler@tiscali.co.uk> wrote: > From: andy butler <akbutler@tiscali.co.uk> > Subject: Re: OT: Tuning guitar in fifths for wider orchestration options > To: labaloops@yahoo.com > Date: Monday, March 2, 2009, 3:37 AM > L.Angulo wrote: > > off course how can it sounds convincing when i give > you the wrong model description;-) > > > > here you can read about it > > > > >(forget the video) > > I'm trying :-) > > > better yet go try it out! > > hope it's better than the OC2. > (it does track ok though) > 1) Bypass tone weak, so it's only suitable for use in > an fx loop > 2) and the sound of the dry signal to mix with the octaves > is really awful > Of course, for years the OC2 was the only option with > decent tracking. > > > > Personally, I wouldn't waste time (again) with Boss > stuff, they really try too > hard to save costs.
