I've been thinking about this, too. The question is: would you really have 
the guts to take this on a performance w/out screen/keyboard?
Can you be certain nothing will screw up where you have to quickly 
intervene? An Iphone etc. wouldn't assure me.

Frankly, I wouldn't dare and would always take a backup screen/keyboard 
for my setup. Let's see: small computer, screen, keyboard... sounds like a 
laptop to me!! ;-)
