MainStage doesn't forward any midi input to plug-ins on a bus. That's why I let my Mobius AU, that lives on a bus, fetch all its external MIDI control data directly from the global MIDI In port (rather than through MS's graphic screen control icon objects). I had bad crashes of MS when running VST plug-ins inside the AU plug-in, but I have not had time to check if this was due only to Bidule AU or in some way related to the fact that I send out MIDI Clock into an OS X IAC Bus that MainStage used as its sync signal for slave syncing (BTW this works like a charm now with the Mobius AU as master sync device) Greetings from Sweden Per Boysen www.boysen.se www.perboysen.com
