elektron machinedrum looper

hi folks,

i was wondering if anyone has used the RAM machine as a looper using a
remote midi pedal? I'm hoping to start the recording of the ram machine
(to record the audio input channels) and mute unmute of the ram machine
playback track basically via foot pedals.
