There is a setting in the EDP where you can off-set MIDI Note numbers sent from a MIDI pedal into the EDP. This can be used to move the midi not control range to the absolutely lowest or highest note range if you want to make room for playing a MIDI instrument on the same MIDI channel. It can be useful in other ways too, but if you don't know about it you may be confused why all the midi notes you send to the EDP is not affecting the commands you have assigned them too. "Off-set" is not what it is called in the EDP manual, rather what it does. Maybe it's called "Note Base" or something in EDP-ish...?
