No, rather the Latency Compensation settings at "Configuration/Audio
Device Selection". I know the terminology is a bit confusing but as I
understand it you can pretty much equal "a frame" to a millisecond.
However, I made those settings by ear to be on the safe side. With the
correct settings you should be able to record some rhythmic stuff and
then play rhythmically to it and have you playing return overdubbed at
the same timing as you did play it in the first place. I spent hours
with this and found that the timing is not rock solid - you always
hear a difference in the loop when it comes back. It's not as accurate
as a DAW or a tape recorder but good enough for looping ;-)) It
wouldn't be possible to make a sample accurate looper because the
overdubbing and layering needs some free wheeling to work its magic.
