oh shit thanx Andy,i didnt know a cable could do that how can i try it now 
without burning something? u are right there is one i havent retried and 
after u telling me this i dont think i want to, i just had my macbook back 
repaired!any way to test the cable?
oh god this is getting really scary think ill go back to my EDP!
