worked! thanks!
one more question.....looks as though when i go and reset the loops and then press either the insert function or the mute function on the fcb it resets the parameters. only the insert and mute.... if i long press these preset(insert or mute) the edps led shows cycling though the parameters(p1 p2 p3 p4 p5 p6 p7 p8 p9 p10 p11 p12 p13 p14 p15) ...then it resets the parameters.
can't figure it out.

Hi Brian,
I had the same problem when I first got my fcb. When deciding what kind of message to send (when the select button is lit in the programming mode) I made it so that only button 10 was blinking and buttons 1 -9 were off, so that only a direct midi note was sent and that no other types of commands were activated. A long press will turn the light off.
