When Nels Cline started using a Kaoss pad live (not sure which model), I 
was really disappointed as his tone seemed to lose a lot of body. Even 
though the eight-bit (or is it six-bit??) 16-second delay he depends on 
has very low fidelity too, it never seemed to thin things out like the KP.
