Well, if you approach it this way, you could as well say "software looping is not made for musicians". But seriuosly: I have wasted so much time in the past with graphical user-interfaces that just didn't work exactly / took too much time for notation. After the initial learning curve, Lilypond has made my life much easier. Also, the jEdit LilypondTool provides a very useful user interface. Installation is not that hard: - Install Lilypond (http://lilypond.org/web/install/ ) - Install jEdit (http://www.jedit.org/index.php?page=download ) - Install LilypondTool automatically with jEdit plugin manager (follow instructions: http://lilypondtool.organum.hu/86.html) Use excellent Lilypond documentation (http://lilypond.org) to get started. Anyway, I don't want to convert anyone who is happy with Sibelius etc. Just want to encourage you to test it if you haven't quite found the right notation tool/approach. best regards Buzap -- Neu: GMX FreeDSL Komplettanschluss mit DSL 6.000 Flatrate + Telefonanschluss für nur 17,95 Euro/mtl.!* http://dslspecial.gmx.de/freedsl-surfflat/?ac=OM.AD.PD003K11308T4569a
