Since delivery of the ebay dr-670 I've been trying to do what is supposedly not recommended, that is have the 670 master to the rc-50. Since it's commonly known that the rc-50 loops eventually 'drift' out of sync, I'm wondering if this is because of the 670 only uses a 3 digit tempo (ie, 120,121....183..and so) while the rc measures tempo using tenths (ie. 120.1, 120.3, 180.9 and so on). I've noted that if you advance the tempo on the 670 say from 120 to 121, the rc will not match this but rather will go from 120.0 to say 121.1. Perhaps this is not significant to the issue of why the 670 serve as master to the rc. Any thoughts and of course if someone has ever gotten the 670 to master with the rc ans slave, I'd love to hear the s settings. Are you using a pre-recorded loop to establish tempo or tapping the tempo in? Teddy On Apr 23, 2009, at 7:43 AM, Christo Jota wrote: > Hi Teddy, > yeah, checked it out yesterday evening.
