I would guess that it DOES track a glissando.. but a bit badly... It will be of course be only monophonic (which is cool IMHO) I used to have a Korg X511, which was old skool, analog sounds... and it tracked great... untill you played 2 notes, then it squealed like a pig...
what you will find is that it generates a trigger for opening a ADSR and note info... which will be continuous data. (so bends will work) the tricky thing is keeping the trigger thresholds even. (thats playing style really)  OR it may work with an envelope follower, which would track the volume of the guitar. this is better.

At 90€ its kinda worth a try?
