I must agree with Rainer that Jim did indeed rock our houses with his lovely, natural and sincere loop-assisted playing. Jim, you made it worthwhile coming in out of the glorious sunshine we had here in England today. Thanks again to Jim, Rainer, Jeff and anyone else who looked in on my broadcast today. Your kind words and encouragement were very much appreciated. It wasn't entirely without technical hitches, but it worked pretty well and I really enjoyed doing it. It's wonderful to be able to perform to audiences all over the world at one time. It's also amazing to me that despite the distance and technological barriers the music doesn't lose any of communicative power or emotional impact. I'll be loking forward to future webgigs from Rainer, Jim and Matt nd anyone else brave enough to take the plunge. I'll be doing some more myself too, hopefully planning them further in advance in future. Best wishes to you all and have a good week. I felt I was fighting off a bit of tequila overhang from dinner last night so I wasn't sure but it was fun as always and I really appreciate you, Jeff, Steve, Daryl and others who were there. I gotta tell you as I do the rest of the list that this virtual stage is a real gift to me as it's allowing the chance to perform for folks in places I may never get to so digging it. Also 'rocking' the house with his pyrotechnical cello today was Steve Moyes who did a really great set.
