Hi Hauke, Welcome to the list. I'd love to contribute some stuff. I love lo fi pop and am working on some material like that as we speak. You might also really enjoy my wife, Christine Wedertz's work, by the way. She's making an entire lo fi pop record right now, playing all the instruments, recording and producing by herself. She's at www.myspace.com/donebeginner her first four tracks are up there. She used an old seventies cassette recorder to record her vocals. It has terrible wow and flutter..........it sounds great. Anyway, I produce the world's largest live looping festival every year in Northern California in the third week of October. This year, the Y2K9 International Live Looping Festival will feature 50-55 artists from 5-10 countries in 6 days in 4 cities. If you put a live project together using live looping, I'd love to encourage you to apply to perform. Applications will be accepted after the 1st of August (and not before) by sending an email with this in the subject line: Y2K9 SUBMISSION: (your name here)(your country of residence) and all your contact information in the body of the email You can send that to looppool (at) cruzio (dot) com Welcome to the list and we look forward to hearing your creativity. yours, in the loop, Rick Walker www.looppool.info/bio.htmlWe
