Karuna Supreme, That's it, thanks Rick, someone should release that music. Today is his memorial in Mill Valley. They are going as cheaply as $82.50 at amazon.com (ouch) and as much as $119.99 Not only did he have a huge impact on world music but, in particular, he had an enormous impact on the San Francisco Bay Area and environs. I know so many fantastic musicians who were trained in Indian Classical music at his Ali Akbar School of Music in Marin County. He had a huge impact on the whole World Beat movement of the early 80's as well as huge impact on the third stream movement in Jazz. He will be missed.
