In praise of the Crossfade Loop Synth Effect!

Hi,

Just want to thank Os for pointing out, half a year ago (I've been to
busy to launch this until now), that this software plug-in actually
can work as a real-time sampler! I had just been using it as a drone
delay effect (three parallel delay lines set to different rate/pitch
shift values). Together with Live 8, that is capable of picking up a
musician's tempo without crashing, I now have the building blocks to
build my beloved electronic instrument draft The Steppophonic

The concept is to combine live looping and live sequencing into a
system that allows the player to freely improvise also with
harmonization.
