Apple recently announced a new and cheaper 13" Macbook Pro with Firewire 
for $1199, see http://www.apple.com/mac/whichmacbook/compare.html

I think this is more or less the same machine as the previous white 13" 
MacBook with FW they sold until Oct '08.
