Jean Phillipe,
I hough your name sounded familiar, then made the
connection from your myspace page: You played on Salif Keita's Soro, which is
among my favorite albums! Great to have you here on Loopers
Delight!

Dear Fro,
I'm very glad to hear that you liked my music. It's very
encouraging because it's the kind of music that doesn't sell these
days since it's a little too far from what people call electronic
music. Thanks again. Back to the subject, do you think there is a
replacement unit for the repeater if I cannot get it to work properly. I
thought of the RC 50 but it doesn't look as straightforward as the repeater
was. Yet it's the only multitrack hardware loop machine I know of. Of
course, I would love to go Ableton but it's yet impossible for visually
impaired users.
Cheers, JPR

i owned 4 of
those darn things once upon a time and for the life of me i cant remember if
you can reset to factory defaults- just read through the booklet, i dont
think its possible- ild say switch out all cables involved and if that
doesnt work, re-install the operating system
probably didnt help ya
at all, but the important thing is that you just earned a fan for
life- im a first time listener, and am completely captivated by the
intricacy of your music
salut!

Hi there, I hadn't used my repeater for a
bit, and it's acting weird now.
When overdubbing , what I just played
comes out with a small but very noticeable delay against what was previously
on the track, I would say about 30 ms. I have software 2.1, and unpowering
the machine doesn't do any good. I don't even know if there is a way to
reset it completely. Since the Electrix site and forum are closed, you're
my only hope. Thanks for your help, Cheers, JPR
