Re: mailing list rules (was: Re: online real time looping sequencer game)

Yeah Massimo.. I dont really mind sig files.. some people here are old luddites and like their email in Black and White...  the same people seem to like all the LD mails in one great big post.. and like to scroll for hours thru endless repetition, when people hit reply and all those repeated headers ... Phew... why everyone dont get Gmail and be done with it .. IŽll NEVER know... but that the reason for them rules... donŽt mind Rainer... he's German (I think) and very very organised... (only kidding R.. he he.. feeling cheeky today... maybe thats because Im about to go see Harry Potter, first date with my wife for 3 and a half years (age of my son) maybe a even a beer afterwards... who know WHAT will happen after that!!)

Hi Massimo,
if you can, it *would* help if you can post
in plain text to the list (switching off HTML
in your email software for these posts).
There's actually good reason for this, as a number of people still use the digest version of
the list which is often rendered illegible by an HTML post.

...but please ignore the tone of Rainer's post, I'm sure most LDers didn't even notice your sig.

Massimo,

may I remind you of the mailing list rules as posted on
www.loopers-delight.com, of which I take the liberty to quote:
"Are there posting guidelines for the Looper's Delight Mailing list?

Please set your mail program to use plain text when posting to
Looper's Delight."

While big signatures are very annoying in general, they are especially
so if they come with graphics.

If that is not for you, you may consider posting to the forum instead.

Thanks,
