The problem with a lot of these things like iPhone apps is that while they provide a great UI for the user, what do you do for the audience in a live situation? I once saw Jon El Bizri set up video of his stuff and mix it with other stuff, and I saw Thomas Dolby do the same but with a head cam. Worked pretty well but a little crazy. Would be great to get a direct video feed off these devices. Nothing? The Tenori on has a headphone out audio jack that functions pretty well and standard MIDI in and out. It's own sounds are very blip bloopy for the most part but as a MIDI controller it's kick ass. > > Same goes for the iPhone apps... forgive my ignorance, Im the only >person in > Oslo without one but is there some way of triggering midi from the iBone? > And using the accelarometer? > > I would LOVE a iPhone app that had a 16 by 16 touch buttons sequencer... I think there is something like that... I've been having some fun with Virsyn's iSyn, but that's different. Cool none the less.
