Yeah, I guess you're right, Mark.
They all are missing the hardware charm.
Touchscreen would be nice, would end up with sth like Lemur eventually.
Or you go the midi controller route and take something like TenoriOn, 
Monome or the new Akai APC 40 controller - and pair it with an 
intelligent, evolving sequencer.

Oh well, it's more sentimentality on my side I guess, no life-or-death 
decision...  Like kind of when I was obsessed with the Casio VL-1. :)
