I'm hearing the Hexatone also works on an iPod Touch. But there is
information lacking on the web site and in Jordan's presentation that
makes it hard to decide how useful it can be. For example he says one
can "export files" without explaining what kind of files. I would find
MIDI file export very creative but unfortunately I assume the tech
info note "16Bit, 44.1 kHz .WAV / .CAF export" means you can only
export a long audio file of the piece. Especially for percussion I
think 24 bit samples sound a lot better than 16 bit (I was amazed do
find out, but that's the sounding reality one has to except).

It would be great to use it on an iPod Touch (escaping the costly
iPhone account subscription) if you could just export the playback
data information to drive synths and samplers elsewhere.
